It’s no secret that I love my heels but if there’s one flat shoe that has won me over, this is it. I’ve mentioned these Dune flatforms in an outfit post here before and this is why:
“I styled a client in them who was looking for everyday shoes for mum-ing in that weren’t ballet pumps or converse and they looked so great on her I couldn’t resist. Ticking the boxes for comfort and style, they’re also flattering on the foot which can be unusual for flatforms but thanks to the ever so slight wedge to the sole they satisfy my desire for a bit of lift. In a soft reptile finish they add texture while filling a neutral gap in any casual outfit.”
The metallic navy and matte burgundy are new in (I have the grey) and will see you through into Autumn in style. From school run and work to weekend, mum duty to date night (if heels aren’t your thing) these versatile flats are a must-buy.
Leather shoes, £75, Dune
The only down side is keeping the soles whiter than white. My top tip: whitening toothpaste and an old toothbrush – works a treat!
5 ways to style
Light neutral shoes like these lend themselves well to pairing with navy, denim and white; be sure to add a bright bag, nails or lips though, to introduce some colour to your look.
