Well after a quiet few weeks here at CocoMamaStyle (babies and children can be so demanding!) it’s time to get back on it and despite winter not being anywhere near over yet, we’re already being tempted with spring collections and a whole new set of trends to consider for the coming season.
Fortunately the fashion gods have been kind to us and decreed that we shall have at least one key trend which crosses from winter to spring.
Unusually for the colder months, pastel tones were big news this season – remember the chalky pink coats everywhere? – but this palette of ice cream shades is set to stay with us so you can bridge the seasonal gap with ease.
Of course where the catwalks lead, the High Street follows and we’re not short of choice when it comes to buying into this trend.
Ways to wear
To get you inspired I’ve put together 4 ways to wear pastels right now, but remember, it’s not just about rushing to the shops or clicking to buy – we’re all meant to drink less, eat less and spend less in January, right?! – so give your wardrobe an audit to see if you have any similar pieces or something lurking in the depths which could nod to these looks without forking out for a whole new outfit.
