It’s easy to get stuck in a style rut and go to the same shops or online stores every season so being introduced to a boutique you’ve not visited before is always a good thing and the perfect opportunity to explore new looks.
I was recently introduced to Aspire Style which has four stores in the UK as well as an online shop stocking unique brands like Louche, Emily and Fin, Closet and Orla Kiely. The clothes and accessories on offer have a ladylike, vintage look with a contemporary twist. Think quirky prints and animal motifs on feminine dresses and retro shapes.

Aspire Style challenge
I was asked to choose a dress from Aspire Style and create a top-to-toe look to feature on the Aspire Style Facebook page for a style challenge.
I picked this bird print dress, £49 by Louche and completed the outfit with scarlet red suede-look heels, a neutral, fringed and cropped jacket and a long, multi-coloured beaded necklace to pick up on the different shades in the print of the dress.
The dress has a simple fit and flare front and a deep V cutaway back with a bow tie. The bright bird print lends itself to endless options when it comes to accessorizing as you pick up on the colours within the pattern.
The look
