Mama on the road finds mums out and about doing, well, mummy type things and sneaks a peek at their outfit and finds out what their go-to brands are for their wardrobes and those of their little ones.
This time we have Alice, mum to Scarlett and Orlaith who live in Essex with husband (and Dad), Rob. Alice was snapped on a family day out to Alton Towers.
Where’s your outfit from?
Sunglasses, Primark (my girls break them so often that I go for £1 pairs!)
Cardigan, Monsoon
Jumpsuit, Forever 21 (bought in Times Square on my honeymoon)
Bracelets, hair band and sandals, all Republic
What are the staple brands in your wardrobe?
Republic, H&M, Topshop, Monsoon
Where do you shop for your girls?
Ted Baker, H&M, River Island, Monsoon, Debenhams
What one item in your mum-wardrobe could you not live without?
Jumpsuits. They look great and they’re fashionable but practical when running after an escapee!
How has your style changed since becoming a mum?
My style hasn’t changed, I’ve always been a floral print loving wannabe hippy. Before children though I always felt like I should shun my inner style and follow the current trend – now after witnessing the amazing changes my body has been through having my babies I’m now so much more comfortable in my own skin that I wear what I like, not just what’s in fashion.

Alice you look fab! You can’t go wrong with a jump suit – Cocomama style can we have some tips on how to wear one with this awful rainy weather!
Jumpsuit round up to follow! I’ve been scared of them and especially printed ones but Alice has swayed me to the way of the jumpsuit! x
I love this look and I love mums who aren’t afraid to wear dramatic prints in a practical way. Don’t own a jumpsuit but am going to try the next one on I see. Thank you.
Ah thank you ladies – glad you like it. Jumpsuits really are fab – I cant get enough of them x
