Perfect plimsolls

The humble canvas trainer is probably a staple in most mum’s wardrobes.  It’s the easy option for day time; wear with jeans, trousers, dresses, the list goes on.  Easy to slip on and off for visits to friends or baby classes when shoes aren’t allowed and you can of course run after toddlers with absolute ease.

The first brand that springs to mind is the Converse All Star, an undeniable classic,  but there is so much variety out there in the canvas-clad world of the plimsoll, why stick with just one?  Whatever your budget or requirements for a neat little trainer (does it fit? can I push a buggy in it?!) there really are some great options whether you’re after the classic, quirky or bang-on-trend.  And yes, there are even daintier styles for the trainer-shy.  Oh, and if you’re thinking I can’t possibly justify a new pair of shoes when there are nappies to be bought there’s even a pair for just £7.  Can you guess which one?!
