5 Esprit Outfits To Wear Now

We all know the high street go-to brands and probably have a good idea what’s on offer most of the time but when I’m styling clients, especially using department stores as a base, I like to mix labels to create truly personally styled outfits and introduce brands into the mix which she may have not thought to include in her wardrobe repertoire. One such brand is Esprit which can often be forgotten but provides affordable, wearable and on-trend pieces to update existing outfits and also basics to refresh those staples while you’re at it.

Here’s a taster of what’s online right now, with 5 key pieces for the season with full outfits to show you how to style them.  Whether you rock a look top-to-toe or incorporate items you already own into the mix, you’ll have some easy, yet polished outfit ideas to inspire your style this season.

The embroidered jeans

Floral embroidery updates classic mid blue denim jeans a treat as the key denim detail to rock this season. Add a retro vibe with knitted polo and tan platforms. Beachy waves and tassel earrings ideal but not essential!

Embroidered jeans, £45 | Crochet lace polo top, £29 | Leather platform sandals, £55

The jumpsuit

Take a slouchy jumpsuit and layer an off the shoulder tee beneath for a flash of shoulder (but you can still ear a bra thanks to the shoulder straps on the ‘suit. Finish with metallic trainers for a simple yet styled day look.

The top

Off the shoulder, check. Stripes, check. Statement sleeve, check. That’s one on-trend blouse right there. Team with a tomato red slim fit chino (turned up, naturally) and navy blue heels  – the tassel is the hot trim right now – for a smart day to evening or office look.

Striped off the shoulder blouse, £29 | Metallic leather belt, £19 | Cotton slim chinos, £29 | Suede heels with tassel, £59

The coatigan

You’ll never realise how much you needed a long striped cardi/jacket until you have one. I own one very similar to this – you may have seen it on instagram – which I wear a lot in the spring and autumn as it’s the perfect top layer, a great length and the navy and white stripe gives it just enough interest but still allows it to work with other prints in one outfit.

Long striped knit, £55 | Peace t-shirt, £12 | Skinny jeans, £45 | Espadrilles, £29

The trousers

We’re now calling it the wide leg crop because it sounds more wearable than the culotte and with its wide hem and your ankles visible underneath, it really does make legs appear slimmer. Not to mention the stripes in this particular pair offering up their leg lengthening properties, so if you’re going to rock a wide leg crop trouser, make it these. The tie waist gives them extra style points and styled with a subtly nautical knit and metallic platforms finishes the look with a modern classic feel.
