Three things which add instant cool factor to a clothing brand: 1. Swedish design, 2. Created by mums, 3. Sustainably produced. Throw in some graphic prints, mini-me outfits and reasonable prices and you’ve got yourself a winning formula with me&i. Too good to be true? Nope, we road tested some new season pieces from me&i and weren’t disappointed.
Coco Lily, 5, tried the drop print blouse and skirt, both in soft jersey fabric with no fiddly or scratchy bits to put her off. Her verdict: “I love them!“. And from a mama’s perspective, they wash well and if she’s happy, I’m happy!
Style tip: Twinning is winning; co-ord with your mini-me in the women’s fuchsia drops blouse (below).
This longline cardigan is definitely one of those items in my wardrobe I wonder what I did without; it’s perfect for this transitional time as a top layer from day to evening when the weather’s trying to make up its mind. And just like the childrenswear, it washes well too.
Style tip: Use a textured knit to add interest to a simple monochrome outfit.
