3 ways with Winter Whites

It’s no sartorial secret that Winter Whites are a ‘thing’, and no new thing at that. And there is a reason why, not just because alliterative fashion terminology likes to stick around, but because it’s a welcome lift to the typical dark tones you expect from a winter wardrobe.

A white shirt will elevate an all black outfit, white jeans with a chunky knit feels fresh and a flash of white for a festive party outfit can bring a welcome change to the fail-safe LBD look. With this is mind I have collaborated with Forever Unique and their #WHITEISTHENEWBLACK campaign to put together 3 winter looks all involving – yep, you guessed it! – white.

All Forever Unique

Style tips: Give the classic white top and jeans look an update with a white blouse paired with khaki skinnies. Finish off with a clean cut black coat and ankle boots.

Dress and heels, both Forever Unique

Style tips: White dresses will make a break from the sequins, jewel tones and little black dresses during the party season, but if bare legs are too much to bear, slip into nude tights – just make sure they are more natural and less Strictly.winter whites | outfit | forever unique | cocomamastyle

Blouse and trousers, both Forever Unique

Style tips: Black and white is a classic combo but monochrome is also a big trend for AW15 so keep it current with leather-look trousers and a cut-out detail top. Add a black Tux style jacket and metallic heels to finish the outfit.
