What’s on your style wish Lyst?

That’s not a typo above, oh no, because Lyst is an online space which brings together two things I love: lists and fashion. Put them together and you have a personal shopping experience which shows you items from brands you wear and covet to save your favourites for later in well-organised but utterly stylish lists.
I have partnered with Lyst to put together my current style ‘lysts‘, because let’s be honest, it’s much easier to have all your sartorial cravings in one easy to reference place (Lyst is also an app, obviously!) rather than an iPhone camera roll peppered with snaps of ‘shoes I want‘ and lust-have outfits among photos of a toddler pulling funny faces and a 4 year old posing as if her life depends on it.

It’s just like Pinterest; you create your boards, or ‘lysts‘ and fill them with your new season wish list, wardrobe essentials or dream purchases just in case someone whisks you off on a budget-less shopping trip – well, we can live in hope.
Refer back to the lysts, edit, compare and update with new pieces you spot thanks to the feed of items from labels you love based on preferences you select.  And you’ll even receive an alert when an item you have listed comes back in stock or goes in the sale.
Dangerous? Possibly. Useful? Very.

The shoe lyst

Shoes will always be my first love when it comes to style so it’s a must for a list. I may be a little late adopting the lace-up trend, I was waiting for the perfect pair without the Aquazzura price tag and of course, for me they need a heel. Don’t get me wrong, I love the look of a pointy flat on others but just can’t rock it myself.  You’ll find my current Shoe Lyst filled with Ghillie inspired shoes  – the Fash pack favourite with a long history – my top picks of which are red and cobalt blue Topshop numbers; great for lifting a darker autumnal outfit. But for wearing with opaques, black is the best option for the ultimate in leg lengthening.
