Yesterday saw a morning of shopping, sadly not for me, but instead for our eldest’s first school uniform – how did she get to be so grown up? Answers on a postcard please…
Anyway, with a trip to a school outfitters with both girls (and Daddy too) on a sunny and cloudy day I went for jeans (of course!) and flats. Despite being keen to get stuck into the new season fashion-wise, I am still hoping for some more sunshine, mainly because my tan from our holiday back in May is long gone now (sobs) so I’m craving vitamin D. The plan was that white jeans and a bright tomato red top would lure the sun out and it almost worked!
I love a pair of white jeans,so I’m making the most of the summer to wear them. They’re really not that hard to keep clean with two little ones, honest. If you’re a white jeans novice though, do watch my videos on choosing the right pair of white jeans for you and tips on how to style white jeans.
(How annoying are those hanger tags – at least it shows I don’t retouch my photos!)
With a bright, block colour outfit I needed some texture and a bit of metallic, but flats were in order to dress down the outfit for a casual day out shopping. I bought these Zara Home sliders before our holiday and was spoilt for choice with their flats. It’s always worth a look in Zara Home if you’re looking for slipper style shoes and leather sandals at great prices.
And as for the Storksak bag, it’s been our change bag for over four years now so was well worth the investment back when I was shopping with a bump for the very first time in 2011.
