Shopping trollies at the ready, there’s a new pocket-friendly children’s clothing range hitting supermarkets this week. Tomorrow, Morrisons stores across the country will see Nutmeg – the supermarket’s first ever own-brand clothing range – hit the shelves.
The debut collection features vibrant children’s clothing for ages 0-12 and a smaller range of adult essentials with more coming soon, which means, if this initial collection is anything to go by, we’re in for a treat.
Nutmeg’s head designer, Katy Percival is a mum of two herself, so who better to know what us mamas want from our childrens’ clothing. Katy said:
“Every parent deserves to be able to buy good quality, fashionable and durable clothes for their children – but at a price that is affordable.”
It’s all about the detail with Nutmeg as careful consideration has gone in to every aspect of the clothing line. Chunky zips on hoodies and jackets mean that little fingers can do it up by themselves, expandable waistbands (if only this feature extended to most womenswear too!) and itch-proof collars for moan-free clothing.
Practicality and affordability are covered then, but the burning question is just how stylish is Nutmeg? With bold stripes and florals for girls, more stripes and chinos for boys plus unisex items and splashes of neon, the answer to that question is, pretty darn stylish! Colourful, fun, comfortable and affordable; everything children’s clothes should be.
For the girls
For the boys
Nutmeg will be available in 84 Morrisons stores and 6 Kiddicare superstores from Thursday 21st March 2013.
