Celebrity design collaborations no longer seem to be the novelty they once were and we’ve come to expect them as the norm on the high street, but as collections (and celebrities!) come and go, there is occasionally a brand which gets it spot on.
Today sees the launch of Jools Oliver’s Little Bird nursery interiors and childrenswear collections for Mothercare. As a mum of four, Jools has always been a fan of Mothercare and dresses her children in the much-loved brand just as her mother chose their clothes for her as a child. Jools said “My designs combine both quirky and classic style inspired by my childhood memories. The collection features nostalgic, classic pieces, sprinkled with unique touches and playful attention to detail.”.
Think fairytale woodland for interiors and babywear as cute toadstool prints are scattered throughout with baby deer and rainbows thrown in for good measure. While the childrenswear is bright and practical with ditsy florals for girls and checks and stripes for the boys.
