Style solutions: lacklustre bust

So you’ve spent the last however many months tending to your little one’s every hungry need and you’ve made the decision to move on. And then what happens, the full bust you were used to is, well, lacking a certain lift.

Pre-baby and pregnancy clothes fit perfectly again now, right? Well, unfortunately not. And if they do for you, go and put your feet up with a cuppa and a piece of cake and be thankful (you lucky thing, you!). For the rest of us something happens to your body (yes, a baby but…), where nothing is quite where it was or the size it was before, be it hips, boobs, ribs… you know what I mean.  Whether it’s bigger, smaller or rather deflated, clothes don’t sit the way they used to even if added weight isn’t the issue.

Of course the first answer is to go and get fitted for a new bra, you know, ones that don’t unclip, that have wire and aren’t falling apart because you’ve rotated the same few every day since baby arrived.  But as we can’t measure across the wifi that’s not something cocomama can help with right now, but if you’re feeling a little, shall we say lacking in that area, there are ways to dress around it without reaching for the chicken fillets.

Three ways to enhance or disguise your lacklustre bust:

L-R: Oasis ruffle top, Tesco pleat neck top, Dorothy Perkins print blouse

Don’t worry busty mamas, there’ll be a post for you too soon…

And if you’ve any other problem areas, do contact and cocomama will (try! to) solve them
